Many realtors choose to include our Pre-Listing Home Session as part of preparing a home for the market.
This service helps ensure the home is properly prepared for listing photos, showings, and the move, while preventing homeowners from removing the wrong items before the property is listed.
What the Pre-Listing Home Session Includes
The session includes two hours in the home with the client to review the property and create a preparation plan.
During this visit we:
• Walk through the home room by room
• Tag items that should remain for staging or showings
• Identify items that should be removed or decluttered
• Help determine what will move to the next home
• Identify furniture that may enhance the home's presentation
• Suggest rearranging or relocating furniture for better flow
• Create a clear step-by-step preparation plan for the homeowner
Homeowners often become used to seeing their furniture and décor in the same place for years. During the walkthrough we help them see the home through a buyer’s eyes, sometimes suggesting different layouts or moving pieces to other areas of the home to improve the overall presentation.
Realtor Bonus – Listing Readiness Walkthrough
When the Pre-Listing Home Session is booked by a realtor, it includes an additional one-hour follow-up visit approximately one week before listing photos.
This walkthrough includes:
• A final assessment of the home's readiness for listing photos
• Identifying whether additional staging or services may be helpful
• Confirming the home preparation plan has been completed
• Ensuring the home presents well for photography and showings
This visit typically includes:
• A Simplify Life Your Way team member
• The realtor
• The homeowner or family member managing the home
This additional walkthrough helps ensure the home is fully prepared before it goes live on the market.
This follow-up session is a bonus offered exclusively when the Pre-Listing Home Session is booked through a realtor.
